Received a voice message on my work phone...part of message was garbled and couldn't be understood.
All I caught was 'will be prosecuted to the fullest extent".....I don't answer or respond to calls I don't recognize or threatening ones such as this. Probably a scam like I read in previous reports on this site.

An actual Process Server is not going to have any conversation with you about any debt you owe, nor will they demand payment from you. If something like this happens, immediately call local law enforcement and make a full report including as much descriptive information as you can give them of the person impersonating a court officer.
Left a message on my voicemail saying they will prosecute me, if I don't call by the end of the business day. I didn't think Sunday's were considered a business day. So ridiculous.

I almost proceeded with settlement because I have been working on resolving a lot of debt, and wasn't surprised to find another person calling. I asked them to send me a settlement letter and when I received this letter, I noticed it didn't look legit. There were no account numbers and their email was a gmail account. I asked Mathson Litigation to give me an account number. They revised the settlement letter to reflect this account number. I contacted Speedy Cash USA to see if this account number existed and it did not, nor did they have my name registered in their system.
