The caller (with a heavy south Asian accent) asked for me by name and identified himself as "Officer David from the Medical Compensation Department." He told me they were offering a medical compensation package because I had taken anti nausea medication. I told him he must have the wrong person because I haven't taken anything like that. So, he asked, "You have had surgery?" And launched into his compensation script again. I told him that I recognized this as a phishing scam and refused to participate. As I hung up he was sputtering "but, but ..." I hope he is still searching his script to figure out how to handle people like me.
I missed the call and they left no message on our answering machine.
I was a little concerned, since I am in the 770 area code. I am out of work and thought maybe someone was attempting to contact me. I didn't see the call had taken place until around 3 p.m. Thursday 8-20-15. I immediately Googled the number and found this site. They called around 10:41 a.m. on Thursday 8-20-15. *whew* Glad I didn't have to call them back.
I don't answer numbers i don't recognize, so i let this one go to voicemail. There was a message, which turned out to be three minutes of a faint electrical hum. That was it.
I do not answer number I do not recognize so I sent it to VM. They did not leave a message and when I tried calling back I received a "All circuits are busy" message.
