the actual number that showed up on caller ID was 4917709456424 and it said unknown name. This number has called on a regular basis all week. I googled the number without the 491 in front of it, I came up with a, Thomas Williams Atty. CLOSED. I'm figuring it's a scam by somebody using a defunct number. They don't leave a message and I don't answer !

I have gotten a number of calls from both 4917709456424 and 7709456242 I looked up both numbers and the 491 prefix was located in Russia the 770 number said Georgia but when I looked up the number it says it is a cell phone from India. The guy who called said he was with Micosoft and wanted to help me fix a problem with my computer. I called Microsoft security and they had no idea what he was talking about.
I just had the same call from (770) 945-6424. It was a gentleman with an Indian accent who claimed to be working for Microsoft and wanted my IP address to correct errors on my computer. I tried to call the number back and it says it is disconnected.
I recieved a call on my cell from that phone # above and they told me people with Windows will be having a problem with their computers and that she would help me. I said I don't have any problem. She insisted on helping me with my computer and told me go to Start and then my computer well thats all I did and then got another call so told her I had to go. Thank God I didn't do anything else, we can't trust these people that call radomly and tell you what to do with your computer. They could have been hacking or trying to get personal info from my computer. Please be careful when it comes to your computer.
