WOW!!!!! I AM GLAD TO HAD THOUGHT OF LOOKING THE COMPANY UP OUT OF EXCITMENT!!!! I HAD JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS VERY NUMBER YESTERDAY. AS ONE OTHER PERSON STATED, THE WHOLE CONVERSATION WENT SO SMOOTH....NOT TO MENTION, HAVING BEEN LOOKING FOR A SUITEABLE JOB FOR OVER A YEAR, IT JUST TOOK ME BY SURPRISE. I DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE ATTENDING MY "INTERVIEW" ON MONDAY!!!!!! WHAT A THANKSGIVING TO REMEMBER.....LOL:)(: TAKE CARE EVERYONE!!!!!
I was emailed and called after sending an email to Maven Marketing, that said they had a Customer Service position in Reno NV. Maven has listings all over the US for these types of job listing online...but No explanation as to what they are other than Marketing, Customer Service positions, etc. This lady called back from the Georgia number shown but using a Reno Nevada Wells Fargo office building as its address and this job was for a DirecTV position in Reno. I decline the need to visit their office for an interview. I already knew Maven has NO business license in Reno NV to operate and they are using the office of Regus.com for their office. 8th Floor 200 S Virginia St. Maven has a state business license for Nevada....but that does not work if you have an "office" in the City of Reno. Beware Folks this Maven entity is very suspicious. More Later.
I really do not appreciate all this crape, I wish the FCC could do something about these people. I am a student that is looking to further my career within the Criminal Justice System, and these types of scams are just a wast of my time. If anyone has any more information in reagrds to these scam artists. Please report them as soon as you can so we can put a stop to these imposters who are using the internet for these types of illegal purposes. Thank you for your concern. A Unhappy Job Searcher.
I had the same thing happeb to me. Excited i scheduled a interveiw to get out of my current crap job. Then i look up the job in every website and board with no job info or reveiws from people. Then i find this. I know who isnt going to that interveiw!! Thanks. And i hope this saves more people not only in the reno area with maven but worldwide with marketing scams
I just a call and email to have an interview tomorrow morning. The phone number of the HR person was 770-990-4504. But hey are interviewing here in Arizona. They say that they are opening 4 to 6 more advertising firm here. This company was advertised at the Career Builder site. The company name is Top Notch Advertising. Area code here is 520 ( Tucson ). I wonder now if this company is connected to the company that was mentioned above as Maven Marketing as the phone number that called me was 770-990-4504???
got a phone call saying that it was from Georgia. It was about a customer service job. It did not seem like a legitimate business to me. Looked all around on the internet for a legitimate website and could not find one. Went to the BBB website and Advanced Media could not be found. This was probably spam.
