This company has been calling my 80 yest old mother asking for my farther who has been dead for 30 years. So I called them and asked how could my farther owe anything when his been dead the man on the phone said it was a mistake I asked jow do uou make a mistake like that he started yelling at me I asked for a supervisor he hung up on me.. Scammers my farther has never been listed at that number or address my mom moved when he died and my farther never owed a dime to anyone..
I have gotten a couple calls from this number over the last month or so. I've never answered, it sounds like an automated message. They have my name and say "this is a call from ATG credit and is an attempt to collect a debt. Call and ask for George, and give reference # (8 digit number or something). I am fully aware of all of my outstanding debts, and have not called back, cause it sounds like a total scam! Anyone else called them back?
This number is always calling our place. It actually comes through on our fax numberas we have a fax and this number does a double beep when calling, so I know it is calling our fax line as that number is different that our house number.
They have yet to send an actual fax, they just bug the crap out of us. We have no debt SO, they are full of BS!!
I received a message from this number on my answering machine earlier today. Says they are ATG Credit and attempting to collect on a debt. They called my home again about a half hour ago and were very rude and used profanity to my 17 year old daughter when she told them I was at work and she wouldn't give them my work number. All my debts are paid and I have no idea who they are or what they want. Sounds like a scammer to me. This is BS and I will be sending a complaint to the BBB on them.
Called trying to collect on a corporate debt from a company that had gone out of business. Said I was the co-signer on the corporate credit card. Probably legit.....
