This number is being spoofed by a group that calls and says they are the IRS and want you to pay up. Indian accent on the woman. Ignore the call because this is a total scam to get money from you!
I just received a call from this number; I agree with mrbyte . . . she mentioned the IRS and she had an Indian accent. DO NOT fall for this. . . don't answer this call!
A Nigerian sounding woman called saying she was with the IRS. Hung up on her and then called the number back. The number picked up and said they were the IRS.
just received a call from this number. wanted cash to settle my alleged income tax evasion. pretty savvy until they asked for cash. do not talk to them. scam artists with indian accents. they need to be reported to the irs.
Heavy accented recorded call stating that, (paraphrasing) "they are the IRS and for me or my criminal attorney to contact them at 773-312-5053 prior to the case being filed." I guess in a hurry, "time is of the essence, so i can pay them first" and hopefully stave off a trial and conviction, supposedly in federal tax court. ha ha haa
