I usually know for sure if it's a scam. This one was a little different. They asked for the wrong person (answering machine message, but I called right back). They said they were such and such attorney office and going to garnish this persons wages. Very American and English speaking sounding. But, I highly doubt anyone would contact someone this way. They'd send a certified letter or serve papers or something I think. Anyway, probably a scam but who knows.
Received a call both on my cell and work number stated that after several attempts to serve me with papers they are now going to say I'm in default. No mention of company name or anything. I know it's a scam because they said to call them at 832-241-7077 to resolve... that number already has a history on this site. I'm just so sick of these calls somehow they have to stop.
