I just got a call from this number. As I have friends that live in the Chicago area, I answered on the off chance it was one of them. It turns out to be one of those scam loan calls saying that I was approved fot up to $15000.
I never answer these mystery calls, because if they are a real person they will leave a proper message for me. This was one of those robocalls that starts leaving the message before the beep - so the first part of the message is cut off. It started mid-sentence with "...processing charges. So call us back on our direct line number is..[etc]"
Some of those telemarketers and scammers who do leave "half" messages, like that one, do it purposely to get the curious people to call back and find out what the message was about...then they try to work their 'magic script' to get some money from you. They can't scam money from you unless they talk to you, so its a trick to get you to talk to them.
