lol i just kept telling him he had a horrible accent, and i'll check their website. I have some friends that call me from a Ipod doing prank calls. So i always check online if its them useing their ipod or not. If they want to scam me they gotta do better then a foreign guy who you can't understand worth crap. i almost started takeing it at as a prank call and telling them i was dead and they are talking to my ghost.
so i just got a call from these ppl and i have student loans but they want you to give them $5.00 via credit/debit card. I do not think this is legit...just curious as to what everyone else thinks?
Never give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 90% for themselves and sends 10% to the charity. Best to find what charity they are collecting for, research the charity to make sure it's legit, get charity contact info from an independent source, then donate *directly* to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.
This is so annoying. I'm only 10 years old, so I have a cell phone for emergencies, like, walking to school by myself and calling my parents when I got there. I was calling my dad to ask for something, and I did, and he answered, we talked, then I put my phone right there on the bed. This number called, and I answered. They said something I couldn't hear, they sounded kind of, like, Indian or something, and I THINK they asked to speak to someone, like, Mike or something, but I wasn't sure. I just said, "I think your have the wrong number, sir," and he hung up. After Googling the number and reading on this site that they call constantly, I searched how to block it but it just said how to block caller ID, and 1 that didn't work. Can someone help me, please? I turned off my phone temperaroly, but I don't want them to call again. How can you block someone's number?
Just say, "No speak English. No speak English." Or, if you prefer, "No speak Spanish," or "No speak French" implying that you don't know what the heck they're talking about
