While on the phone with my mom, she received a call from this number on her cell phone. When she called it back, it was a recorded message and was prompting her to answer questions by pressing and number on the keypad. If you get calls like this DO NOT PRESS ANY NUMBERS, it is how scammers validate that a person owns the number and how they distribute your number to other scammers. I would recommend taking notes on the date & time that you receive calls like this, if you start to receive multiple calls CONTACT YOUR PHONE company to start tracing the numbers. Most phone companies have a *code that is used BY YOU after you have received a call that you want to trace. You have complete control on which numbers are traced and this service is FREE. Each phone company has a process of how long the "trace period" will last, once complete the forward the information on to the police. I don't know if you are as feed up with me with this, but if everyone was to do this, the scammers would have less of an opportunity to "win" at their game. FYI: With us, my mom will ALWAYS received another call while we are on the phone. She does not receive many calls, so it is very obvious that during the 5-15 minutes of our calls she get another one. We have learned some tricks to limit the number of these calls, hope you find ones that work for you. BE CAREFUL and NEVER provide personal information over the phone to someone who is CALLING YOU. This number called at 4:30 p.m. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. The building I live in already has security so I wouldn't have requested this service.
