his number has been calling me every day harassing me. They will not provide their company name but they leave nasty messages laced with profanity. Please report this number to the FBI. Thanks!
A 'Mr Stein' from the 'investigations department' left a very stern voicemail saying they need a formal statement from me to release me from an active investigation. didnt address me by name or identify his agency. ive heard of this happening to other people so im not gonna trip. im no rookie. if they really got anything on me they're gonna have to show up in person. and if thats the case im sure as hell NOT giving a statement over the phone or without an attorney present. this has scam written all over it
Very stern voice speaking quickly states ""Due to the serious nature of this call federal law prohibits me from disclosing any details to the particular nature of this call. A formal statement is needed to release you from this investigation. Press 0 to speak to a lab agent or give us a call at 773-614-4502. Thank you and good luck". Call came in from Illinois area code. Blocked it.
I got the same call on my non-listed pay-as-you-go cell phone today. Really irritates me. What if I was a very elderly person that doesn't know any better. That's who they target. I usually screen phone numbers that call me and don't answer if I don't recognize it, but I didn't this time, and it cost me the minute on my phone. AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!
