Numerous calls over and over stating there was a lawsuit against me and a lien on my property. Called them back. 733.786.9555. He answered the phone IRS. I called his bluff and told him he was a scam artist. He asked me who told me that? I don't need someone to tell me that. Take my number off your list I told him. He then stated his name was Justine Carter from the IRS, not a scam. I told him he was being reported. I went to https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml and reported the call. This guy caught me on the wrong day.
Two calls yesterday claiming to be a warning that a lawsuit has been filed against me for tax fraud and tax evasion. Company name in the message was not clear, but definitely not the IRS, who wouldn't call anyway.
First call shows spoofed called ID that matched the phone number. Second call shows Chicago IL. The messages were identical which tells me that it was recorded and not a 'real' person.
They left a message 2 times on my machine said they are the IRS & they are suing me. I called them back & they answer the phone IRS. Hung up & ran a search on the number. SCAMMERS!!!!!!
