Harvard Collections. In my case calling because I owe back taxes to state of Illinois -- but I separately setup an installment payment plan directly with State IL. Harvard makes their money by charging % for whoever they're trying to collect for. I ignore them, but that's not going to stop them from trying. I'm not responsible for settling their relationship with State IL if they're not the ones who make the collection.
Called with no message left. Have been receiving calls from 1-800-536-9633 which after some research is apparently some sort of fraudulent collection agency called Harvard Collections. After not answering the 800 number 6 times in one morning this guy called me back on this 773 number. The voicemail I got each time was just the person hanging up. Funny enough the hang up noises on both the 800 number and the 773 number were exactly the same.
Same person...same fraudulent company. BE CAREFUL!
I got a call from this number as well. These Harvard Collection people are very rude. Normally they call from a 800 number and ask for someone who doesn't even live here, but they continue to call. The latest call I got was today from the 773-932-5049 number, When I answered, they just hung up. I don't want to change my number, but dang gimme a break!
They are very rude. They calling my # and same thing, asking for someone that I don't even know, but still they talling me that that person gave them this #. They called me like at 8 p.m and try to tall me that I know that person, then the guy yells at me very rude. I will report them to BBB they are not reallya professionals just bunch of idiots., trying to tall you something that even you don't have anything to do... Bunch of I'm not gone even say what......
