Called trying to get me to change from NICOR natural gas company. Claimed to be from a "state-approved" alternative company. I am on the DNC list so a legitimate telemarketer would not be calling. She hung up the phone when I asked to be removed from their call list. I only answered because I was expecting a call from that area code.

I just ordered a call blocker machine, and can't wait to get it. It can block over 5,0000 numbers. It is sad to say we
need to do something about these calls. We pay the phone bill, and I think we should have a say in who can call
and who cannot. These people need to get real jobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, unfortunate, but you made the right choice. We buy locks for our car doors (well, they come with them) and we lock the doors & windows of our homes. You have to think of your phone the same way. It is a direct line to you. Protect it.
