Called me and totally desperate for cash. Im a disabled veteran and they told me I don't have to donate now but when I get the invoice please send the 35$ in the return envolpe asap lol??? WOW, we have programs for homeless veterans and they DONT call people asking to donate with 3 options only. Re, white and blue which is 100$. I asked could I just donate 5$? Then the women just talked about something else trying to deflect. So I gave them name and address to see what company is this organization. Homeless veterans don't like the shelter because majority are addicts and can't stop the alcohol or drugs. So they don't like the rules, curfew, must find a job and take and job the shelter found for you ect.
I also like to add they claim money is for disabled veterans to get more support from the government and to help homeless/disabled veterans get the benefits they deserve. By donating money would help veterans and that they have 1time membership donation fee for red 35$ White 50$ and blue 100$. No other option to donate anything else even though they claim to accept anything and you don't have to choose red, white and blue. But when you talk to a person and not an automated system. They speak really fast and it's just like they are recording the conversation for verbal contract agreements over the phone if you promise to send the amount you agreed to donate when you receive a mailed invoice with a return envelope. I'll update to let everyone know what organization this is and if they're legit. I wonder how they got my cellphone
