I ran an ad on craigslist for a musical item for sale for 550.00. I received a text from a person calling themselves Christine Osborne from 774-549-2210, a woman in the military. "She" was supposedly busy and wanted to send the money to me through paypal. I agreed and gave them my email address. They then started texting me constantly telling me the deposit of 1150.00 was complete and I needed to western union them 500.00 for shipping so paypal would release my funds! I told them they were crazy! I wont do ANYTHING till money is in my paypal account.. CLEARED.. they became abusive and threatening SENDING ME 30 TEXTS YESTERDAY. They are running this craigslist scam and Im sure some people fall for it. When I google the phone number several complaints come up..BEWARE!! The address they used to wire the money to was Joseph Tedd Baker 28 Freeman St moving apt. Suth Bend Indiana 46619 They spelled so many things wrong I'm sure they are in another country.. I have since reported them to IC3, paypal, craigslist and not finished yet.. I found this website by googling the number and I have seen the same story over and over. It usually involves musical instruments or motorcycles. Google the number and you will see it attached to musical instruments sold on craigslist in Phoenix AZ.
