I was not home, but wouldn't have answered this call. I get calls when I get home also. I don't usually turn on the TV, but it must be connected to the internet and my using the computer. Mine said VOIP call.
8:13PM unwanted intrusion on a Friday night after a long week. Caller ID said "MASSAPOISETT, MA." Yet another ILLEGAL TELEMARKETING ROBOCALL. "Dead Air" when I picked up SILENTLY. STRONGLY believe these calls are related to our CABLE PROVIDER: The EVIL **TIME WARNER CABLE**. Within MINUTES of turning the TV on this evening, we got this call - this is a pattern that has happened over and over again. No TV on all day; soon as its on, the calls start. The CABLE COMPANIES run ADS for ALL the SCAMS that are tied to these calls: Neck & Back Braces, Switching Electric Providers, Buy Solar Panels over the phone, TAX scams, CREDIT CARD Scams, MEDICARE Scams, etc. Time for the GOVERNMENT TO STEP IN and MEGA-FINE the CABLE COMPANIES - and the FILTHY RICH CEOs that allow this.
8:45PM - also unwanted call... no message left. Tried to call back using *67 to block my number... got a recorded message to press 9 to be placed on their Do Not Call List... and said my number has been placed on the DNC list. They don't know my number because it was blocked! I feel that if I call back without blocking my number to be put on the DNC list, that it will just confirm that they have a valid, phnoe # to keep bothering me. Will block future calls!
