We are a place of business and get numerous calls daily from 774-633-9224. No one speaks when we answer the phone and this is very disruptive to our daily business.
That's a very clear explanation for all of these apparently random calls I continue to receive. For the ones that identify who's calling (e.g., my drugstore or alma mater), I may decide to answer. All other calls I ignore. With Comcast as my phone service provider, I can only block 12 specific numbers at a time, and as you say, they are constantly changing. I've instead turned on the blocking for those who won't identify themselves, but apparently giving the name of a town or the phone number calling, or even showing that you are "Unknown Caller" will all get through that "block" so it's worthless! I would just cancel my home number, but I do need to have one for many purposes, and I don't want to give everyone my cell phone number, so I keep it.
