I was left a message about a case that is going to Providence district court. The person they named has been unable to be located so a sheriff would be showing up at their residence. The person they were looking for was not me so I called this number back and it just rang and rang with no answer. I then called the number left on the voicemail and I got the Providence court legal department. I gave them the case number and let them know the person they are looking for is not me. They apologized for the inconvenience and told me they would be taking my number off the file.
Asking for my spouse and what relation I have with me that he has court cases pending against him and if he doesn't respond he's that the police are going going to locate him and arrest him at his job

There doesn't seem to be a town in Massachusetts named Providence, but there is one in Rhode Island. So why would they be calling from an out of state phone number?
Many commercial and professional entities routinely work across that state border, including attorneys. It's not uncommon for Mass lawyers to hold an additional RI license. However, as the alert reader suspects, real attorneys and cases are not at issue here.
