Answered, because I used to live in Reno, so I thought it could be a personal call or someone from the university. No one was there, so I hung up after a few seconds.
Robo dialer calling with automated message "about your cars warranty" - Which is odd since I have only a 10 year old car that hasn't had a warranty in 6 years... LOL
I answered this call, but no one on the other end. Silence for about 15 seconds, then the call disconnected. Probably a spoofed number. Definitely a spam call.

Everyone that is not actively trying to stop this kind of activity, is a willing participant or actor.The DO NOT CALL was folly - you just put your name/number on an accessible list for the crooks - and as for "reporting" numbers to them - haha, that would be another waste of time, they don't go after anyone. The FTC is a dud as well - they are no good, even when they do "bust" these crooks (like card services), they will just lawyer up and be right back at it before you can wink. The phone companies smile all the way to bank. Our gov. is so corrupt, all they care about is money. All of these scammers belong in jail - right down to lowly phone reps.
