Since this number first called me in early June, they have called at least a dozen more times, never leaving a message.  The area code says the call comes from northern Illinois.  But when I tried calling the number, the message said business hours started at 8am Pacific Standard Time.  I tried calling again later, and a woman answered.  She said the company is called GC Services, and they handle personal business matters.  When I tried to find out more, she wanted to know who I was.  I said I wasn't giving out my name.  I asked if they did robo calls, and she claimed not, they were not soliciting.  I heard another voice in the background.  I still don't know what they are calling about, since she wouldn't give more information without me telling who I was, and I wasn't about to give out my name.  I looked up GC Services.  One website says "GC Services is a collection agency."  Another said "GC Services is the largest privately-held outsourcing provider of call center management and collection agency services in North America," whatever that means.  I don't owe any money to anyone, so maybe they are calling the wrong number.
