I received a call from this number. They caller claimed to be a fund raiser on behalf of the Illinois Council of police. They said they would send some materials out to review but wanted a committment from me prior to sending it for me to review. Of course this "committement" meant a card number over the phone. When I pressed them why they needed a card number and/or a committment he got defensive and said blah, blah, blah about wanting to keep costs low. I told him no thanks and hung up. When I looked up the Illinois Council of Police, which is a legimate oganization, a union actually. Also their number is 1-800-832-7501 or 1-630-832-6772. I called them and asked if this was legit. They said it wasn't them.

When I called this number back from another phone # a voice message told me to call back from the phone number they originally called. They are so annoying.
