Who called from 7793684101

This number has been FAKED to show up on your caller ID system.   This number has NOT been assigned by any local telephone provider.

These scam artists are using this faked number to hide from the FTC for gross violations of the DNC list and to keep YOU from being able to turn them in to law enforcement if and when you get ripped off.

They are out to try and get any personal or financial info that they can from you in order to steal from you.

Until the FTC or FCC gets their act together and makes the faking or "spoofing" of Caller ID info a crime and puts teeth into this by adding fines and jail time, these morons will continue to call and try and rip you off.

These people keep calling asking for my daughter, we have no idea who they are, and want nothing to do with them

I received a call from them on Tuesday, 5/17/2011. I registered my land line and two cell numbers with the "Do not Call" list. I still get calls! What good was that? Isn't there something that can be done? We also receive FAX calls at 2 AM!!! We have a daughter who lives out of state and elderly family members so we usually try to get the phone when it rings. Very annoying.

Received a call today asking for my daughter. My number is on the "do not call" list. Why am I receiving these calls.
