I got the same call. I told him I did horrible things to his sister. They hate that. He is NOT an agent. Go to the DEA site and leave a report on their fraud page.
Said he was agent Mark Thomas from the DEA field office 97 and was investigating an online pharmacy ring case that was still open. I called back and told him I know nothing about what he was talking about. He kept asking my name and I said it was Jane Doe and that I was reporting him to the DEA for impersonating a Federal Officer which is a Federal Offense. He then said that he would call my husband and tell him that I gave him and all his fiends [***].
I told him I was gay and have never been with a man. He threatened to send his goons after me. Or he would come down here and hunt me down and take care of it himself.
He threatened physical harm and to kill me.
I am calling the DEA right now!
Our office (DR.) got a call from this number wanting to talk to the owner. I said the doctor was with patients. They then said that in 1 hour all of our electricity would "expire with a blackout". Obvious scam! (I hope).
"expire with a blackout" is supposed to be "legit lingo" to these scammers, I suppose.
Based on that, and on the other posts here, I think you're just fine, but if it would make you feel better, call your electric company directly, using the number on their website/your bill. :)
