They say they are in the area doing quotes for window installations. They would like to come by and give you an estimate. Pretty shady considering the caller ID only says "appointment desk" and does not identify the window company they are with.
I got the call about an hour ago, wanted to know what "Appointment desk" was. I've got nothing against local telemarketers. In this recession most of these people are hard working people just trying to pay the bills like anyone else. I feel for these people. What I don't like are these CRA scammers and the East Indian scammers trying to tell me I have issues with my computer. If you don't like local telemarketers calling politely ask them to put your number on their do not call list. They wont call again. So cut these people some slack and or use your call block feature.
Called to try to market Windows, not the computer type, advised they were calling a DNC number and if they call again I will report them. Display just said "Alberta"
