caller id read scam likely so i didn't answer. they didn't leave a message. i don't know anyone in mass i live in fl. if the phone company can id these calls as scam why don't they shut them down?

I do, and I wonder if that is how they provide the services so much more cheaply. I'm wondering if they are "selling" the numbers to those scammers.
