I got a call from this number just now. When I answered, it was a recording claiming to be "Sarah" from "Consumer Services" regarding my current credit card. I hung up and blocked the number after that because a) they didn't identify themselves as an employee from my specific credit card issuer and b) credit card issuers don't call you, they send you letters when they have notices for you.
When googling this number, I found complaints on other websites stating that this caller claims to lower your credit card debt/raise your credit rating, but is just phishing for information so they can scam you out of money.
Called my cell phone at 12:13pm est on 01/12/17. I didn't answer because I did not recognize the phone number, Recorded message left claiming to be from Consumer Services from my current credit card stating they could lower my interest rate (plus some other info I didn't understand), and, I have until midnight today to do this. Apparently a scam/phishing call.
