Who called from 7812428046

I called the number back and the answering message indicated 'someone in this household indicated they wanted a knee or back brace' and then gave the option (#1) to be removed from their call list. Needless to say, I am trying the do not call option

We also received a call from this telephone number. No message was left. An anonymous callback duplicated the above mentioned message.

Thanks for headsup. Of course no message left, it's a scam call spoofed thru, in my case,  a Hull, MA,  number. No company name on Caller ID is the proof of spoof

By calling them back, unless you blocked out your number first, you have just invited them into your life buy verifying yours is a "live" phone number.  They will sell your number,  on a list of 1000's of other numbers of those who've either answered or returned a call to a number they don't recognize and a no-name caller.  It's big business, selling live numbers to scammers who sell to other  scammers. these over seas thieves have the technology to spoof their calls thru legitimate looking USA area codes and there is nothing the government can do about it.    If there is no company name listed on Caller ID , just a random city and state, it is not a legitimate caller, overseas or down the street - there is no such person or business names  [City]  [State] [familiar area code]

Same here- this number has called at least once a day for the past 3 days and it says that they are "calling us back as we requested info on a back brace" - which we NEVER DID. i was tempted to hit hit "2" to stop the calls from them but then I thought that if I press anything that it l might just activate something and I'll get more calls. I hate these things
