Called 3 times at my office and I didn't answer as didn't recognize number. Finally answered yesterday at noon. Offshore call center where they want to send you a white paper (some technology related item as I'm in IT). They called again today after I told them not interested yesterday. This time I answered and immediately said, take this number OFF your list. She said "who am I speaking with". She called me so I said, "who are you attempting to reach", she asked who am I speaking with. No lady, you CALLED ME. Then I asked, what company are you with that you are calling me from, she again asked "who am I speaking with". I again said, no, you called me so want to know what company you represent and then she hung up.
Thanks for taking the time to post this (to everyone, but special thanks for taking additional time to explain the situation everyone wants to avoid) - I'll continue to ignore the frequent calls.
THey called 4 times yesterday evening. I called the number back this morning using a phone I don't care if they trace the number of not. I got an initial recording stating if I was 65 or older and had not received a back brace through medicare within the last 5 years then I was eligible to get one at little to no cost. I was then transferred, after about 25 rings, to a lady who asked if she could help me. I asked her if she knows what a click followed by a dial tone sounds like and then promptly hung up on her.
