id as Canton, Massachusetts. No message. I trust none of them. Could be one of several spoofed calls that show
up every week. Calling from local towns with local area codes seems to be on the up-swing but with a little bit of research one quickly learns it's just more junk.
I added this number (781-298-0015) to my ‘block this caller’ on my iPhone, which, in theory means I would never know when or if this caller ever tried to call again. So, a second call came through yesterday. What I remember from the first call is that it’s a scam for Google Ad Words or Ad Sense -- for Google listings. (There’s more about them on a Google page, if you search Google for the number).
So, I added the number to my carrier’s block list. We’ll see.
What all of this tells me is that the number is likely spoofed, although it did show on my carriers listing.
It’s gotta suck to try to eek out a living that way.
