They do not leave a voicemail if you don't pick up, but if you call the number, you get a voicemail for Venture Data Call Research, "one of the premiere data research" companies in the business. Despite the fact that they are in my own area code (in fact, the number puts them in a nearby town that I can walk to in about 15 minutes), it says "OUT OF AREA", but at least they don't mask their phone number.
Thank you land line owner for making it clear to the survey [***] that we don't want them calling. They can't figure that out on their own??? No wonder they reduce themselves to such crappy jobs. It's all they can get because they are idiots. They think the public are jerks for disliking being harassed!
Today on my land line phone I received 6 phone calls. One was consumer services to reduce my CC interest rate, one was from big broth ether/sister to collect charity, THREE were political surveys and one was a friend. None of these calls (except my friend and consumer services) identified themselves properly on the caller ID. If you are a legit business, why not identify yourself? Have you something to hide? You must. Now supposedly the survey and charity people are "legal" telemarketing calls but there is nothing to differentiate you from jerks trying to collect money in the name of charity or just a "survey" to see who you are, what your number is or if you are home.
WHAT DONT YOU GET YOU IDIOTS? Give it up and stop complaining about rude Christians. You can't trust any phone calls anymore. Get it yet? I agree with the previous comment "DUH".
Fifth call from this number in three days. They never identify themselves or leave a message.
I was interested in reading a surveyors point of view above. It is actually pretty funny. If we are nice to them, they will put us on their internal do no call list. Otherwise, they will continue to harass us.
And you think it's OK to hang up on people just because the computer thinks it's time? How many people will answer another survey when they are rudely hung up on after nicely participating?
If you really need information there is a proper way to go about it. Change your practices.
Capitalism bothers everybody. We all gotta eat and have to work to do that, so don't criticize others' ways that they may or may not choose to survive.
