It is for capital one and mastercard looking to collect a debt. They just called me today and the person was very nice and helped me set up a payment plan.
They have called and we told them the person they are looking for hasn't lived here in over 20 years. But, they persist and the last 2 times they called, there is no one there. What a pain! Should be a law against these type of calls.
Here's what I do. Save the number in your phone book, and give them a cute nickname. Then when they call, answer the phone with a disguised voice to ensure it's a person, then set the phone down, cover your ears tightly, and BLOW A WHISTLE INTO THE RECEIVER AS LOUD AS YOU CAN repeatedly until they hang up. If they call back, DO IT AGAIN. Eventually they will stop. Would you want to call someone who did that every time you called? Muahahaha. Now, it's fun for you.
Whomever ownes this phone number is calling me on a company issued cell phone. Problem is I have never had a capital one card or plan on having one, nor do I have a clue who does. It started about a week ago and they just won't let up.
They keep calling by using Same Last Name 1st initial-skip tracing [***], relative but not us, also the Relative is in Bancrupcy w/counsel but United keeps calling. They are dirty, as dirty as rapists and molesters.
They probably dont have Local offices in your state, they use spoofing numbers to appear they are caling from your town 2 get you to answer.
