(womens voice is used on this recording -received both times in the last 5 days)
My sister and I have Giant Food Stores locally. I also called the 1-866-255-8871 phone number and it is not related - It connects to an apartment guide in Georgia! (I work for Ahold, and we have no connections in the state of GA).
My sister is also registered with the Do Not Call List for her cell phone!

When I contacted Stop & Shop WebCare associates or Customer Service person, they advised that I contact the Consumer Arrairs Dept at Giant Food Stores in my local area and REPORT this hoax!
Someone is trying to get debit card numbers to access Ahold customers banking information and accounts.
It turns out that this 866-255-8871 telephone # has been assigned to a company in GA, as well as the above information for Stop and Shop collections for bad checks! My sister's telephone # was used when a customer in Mass or East North Region wrote a bad check! I had my sisters telephone number removed and she will no longer get message from Ahold - This was a customer of Royal Ahold who is trying to write bad checks and get away with it. My sister was to have the name of "Rose Mary Williams" . .
Call the 866-255-8871 until you get Stop and Shop Customer Care associate, they will remove your name! I confirmed that they had my sisters phone # linked to another Stop & Shop customers.
