It's a prank call from http://www.snapvine.com: "Having a bad day? This call will cheer you up with several reminders that IT COULD ALWAYS SUCK MORE! :) Or call, 781-382-3756',price: '$0.20'" :) :)
Received a text message to my T-Mobile phone to dial (781)382-3756. The text was received on 8/24/2007 at 3 PM.
The text reads: Call me on this number 781-382-3756. My battery is dying and I need 2 talk 2 you asap!!! CALL ME NOW!!!
When I dialed the number, I got a voicemail with a man's animated voice telling me about various things that could suck in life. Then at the end of the voicemail he stated that my call was re-routed to the Dominican Republic and that I may or may not see a charge of $19.95 for the call. He then started laughing and stated that "remember it can always suck".
I contacted my cell phone carrier to report this number and to make sure I'm not billed for the call. When the representative tried calling the number back, she got a message from the operator stating that the call could not go through as dialed etc... I then dialed the number because I told her I just dialed it and I got the same error message.
At www.whitepages.com under Reverse Phone search, it shows that the number is a Land Line, the Provider is Rnk, and the location is Lexington, MA.
