Caller asked for my wife's date of birth. When my wife asked who was calling and why did she want to know that information the caller said she couldn't tell her until she answered her question first.
Of course me wife refused, at which time the caller said she was from some Solar company and inferred the call had something to do with solar panning our house. (the address she gave was from an old address or ours).
Not long after talking with this woman we received a call from a law firm in the same city as the original caller which began by asking my wife's birth date. (the only reason I know it was a law firm is that I researched the phone number...the caller refused to identify herself until my wife gave her the date) At which time my wife hung up the phone.
I have a sneaking suspicion the two calls are related. Lustig, Glaser & Wilson. They are know for deceptive practices concerning debt collections. If you google them and read some of the reviews you'll see what I mean.
Call showed up as coming from Waltham, MA, but probably wasn't - guy couldn't pronounce the street name and was clearly calling from a large call center trying to sell solar panels. Seemed young and polite, so I didn't go off on him. Call block added.
