I call back during the day (using *67 to block my number). Beware, their phone system is sophisticated enough that they knew who I was anyway. I called a few times because I got different answers each time. One time their name was something like "Association for Homeless and Disabled Veterans". Another time it was the "Veterans Action Network".
If you can't get your name right, and you spoof your caller ID with a Tech company name, I know you're a SCAMMER.
They called a couple days ago from from 617 991 9809. I did a lengthy write up. Long story short they are a scam charity.
The website for one of their names had their goal as to educate the public about homeless and disabled veterans. I will do this for them. They are:
1) Homeless
2) Disabled
3) Veterans
That will be $35, please.
The advantage of educating is never having to actually turn over any money.

We apologize for the inconvenience of the call you received. We believe deeply in the preservation of a system that protects our liberties while supporting our rights. Press 1 to hang up, or press 2 if you wish to have your number removed from our calling lists. Thank you."
Ahhh, I have heard this before. I now suspect this message is associated with these faux Veterans' charities.
