Actually this is a call back from someone who texts from a landline. My aunt works at a senior care center in VA and this is the call back from the text she sent when calling me from work.
This is an automated callback number sent as a text message. If you reply or call this number, your personal information is harvested by the automated system at the other end. This is a scheme to determine if a live human is at the end of the number they sent. If you reply, call, or contact this number; it lets their automated system know where, when, and who is at the other end.
This system is attempting to create a list of live gullible people to contact later via text message and/or phone. Those individuals are "marked" as naive and easily duped. It means the individual will likely answer the phone of an unknown number. This is valuable to the marketers and with millions of individuals on this list, is worth thens of thousands of dollars to potential boiler room call centers off shore.

i rec'd a call from a local number and texted back asking who it was and it went to a landline and I immediately rec'd a text message back to call this 718 number. I googled it out of suspicion.
