The caller wanted us to vote on an upcoming T. Rowe Price Shareholder's meeting. We have an OLD IRA w/some T.Rowe Price funds in it, so it didn't seem too suspicious, but I'd never been called by a company before to vote our (FEW) shares over the phone. She said the Board of Directors encouraged people to "vote w/the board". I told her if we vote, we'd abstain. Then she wanted me to say my name on a recorded line. It all seemed weird and too formal for something I always do online or via mail. So, told her I wasn't going to vote at all.
