1-4-16 Received a call from a male asking me if he could get a passport at my business address. When I told him he could come down to find out he called me a [***] and hung up. I called back and got a msge from retirement services and to call back as I will get different prompts then. Weird!
They called me and asked me for my address and my bank account number. It was a woman and she claimed that her name was Ellis. When I asked if I could call her back she said I couldn't because she was about to leave.
Weird.
My credit card was charged for plane tickets from Spain. This number was used to call my phone and to let me know that my card had been used for fraud. Very strange.
Received call 12/08/2008 at 7:04 p.m. Didnot answer the call.
A voice message was left by a female identifying herself as Jeanie from Citizen's Bank stating the call was for Evan regarding activity on credit card. Stated card would not be able to be used until return call was received at 888-910-2500. Gave hours as 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. to return call.
I know no one named Evan.
Got a call on 2/17/2009. Recording said Citizen's Bank. Called them next day, said there was unusual activity on my account. Someone charged plane tickets to Tunisia, $800 to the New York Times and other charges. Got home and found out that the wife's coworker had the same thing happened to her. She said Citizen Bank was hacked into, anyone hear of this?
