I don't know, haven't tried it....I, somehow, manage to get caught back up before that happens.
But, it is a good question....probably not too long afterwards.....hmmmm, that might have been what I sensed unconsciously and is the reason I haven't sent in my cease & desist letter.
They are back to calling me again - up to 15 calls/day 7 days/week. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Hopefully, once I get this one paid off, I won't use Capital One Every Again - they are one of the worst harassing companies I've ever had the 'pleasure' of dealing with.

They called me 15 to 20 times daily for nearly two months, and were completely ignorant and unreasonable. Then, as we approached the "90 days late" mark, where they could repossess the car, then they were sweet as pie and offered to move two payments to the back of the loan... which is what I was pleading for all along.
As an aside, I attempted suicide during this period. When Cap 1 learned of this, the calls stopped... for ONE DAY! How sympathetic..
I'm currently 19 days late. the calls began again on day 15; we are up to 4 calls daily, (all from India or Pakistan.)

I have been getting harrased by capital One Auto Finance every since I fell behind on my payments. I told them that I became disabled for life. They did not care about what I was saying. So they kept calling everyday 10 and 15 times a day. They would call me starting at 8am and keep calling until 8:45pm. I would tell them each time that I am disabled because they would ask what caused me to get behind and they never put a note on the account about this. I told them I am disabled the rest of my life and I am getting disability and that I can only pay so much each month. They said I needed to pay a full payment or they were going to send a repo man out. So I got caught up and then I got behind again and I was only behind by half a payment and they wanted to send the repo man out. I told them they should be thankful I am paying something it is better then nothing. I told them If they keep on I would file bankrupcy and they would not get anything so if they want what I can give them each month then they would work with me and they said it does not work that way. They told me I would have to pay 14.95 fee to make my payment over the phone. You would think that they would have a website where you pay using a debit or credit card to make a payment without talking to someone. Every time they call me they talk over me and won't listen to me. Longs you listen to what they have to say they are ok but, they don't what to hear anything anyone else has to say. They best thing to do is turn the ringer off on your phone. That is what I had to do and it does not bother me anymore. I am like I will talk to them when I am ready!
