I got a call from 781-824-1100 on December 30, 2016 at 11:27 am. The caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on. My caller ID said, "Out of area," usually a sure sign of a telemarketer. I have been on the federal Do Not Call list for over ten years.
The do not call law only accomplished one thing; It shut down every half way legitimate telemarketing companies since nearly everyone signed up for it. They don't care about the law, ergo: they are criminals. Get a phone with a blocking feature and they only call once.
