Caller ID says "US ARM FOR ASSN". I call back using (*67 to block my number).
I reach a recorded message. They identify themselves as the U.S. Armed Forces Association, a non-profit veterans support group. The only thing they offer is the ability to leave a message. They request a name and telephone number. As per usual, I do not give any info.
Interestingly enough, I receive a call supposedly from "Food for the Poor" just 19 seconds later. Makes me think this is the same hired-gun telemarketing firm if it is legit, or an attempt to scam with another name if not.
