I check my messages from this morning. I received a call from this number, but they didn't leave a message. i called it back and I got a message, "This number is unallocated." I have no idea what that means. Thanks to this site, this number is now blocked.
These scammers don't 'get' anyone's phone numbers--they use a 'robodialer', which dials numbers in a sequential order, until they get someone to answer, and become their next potential victim.
Same here, called no message left. Looked the number up on peoplesmart

"trick" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number to avoid complaints."
Got a call on my cell phone around 3 pm. today (4/30/15). Did not leave a message. Looked it up on Whitepages.com.

Multiple complaints on different web sites all state caller wants to reduce your credit card interest. This is a scam. It's illegal in my state for a company to place solicitation phone calls to without written permission from the cell phone holder. I have not given my cell phone number out to any business, so I know this is a scam for a fact.
Because of feedback from this site, I have blocked the caller with my iPhone. (Tap "i" next to the number. Scroll down and tap "block this caller") at least they can't use THAT number on my phone again..
