I told the guy that I don't buy the blades because my subs are responsible for their own equipment. When he asked for their #, I told him no. He then told me I was being rude and that as a sales person, I should help him out. I told him thank you for calling me rude but, like me, my subs don't like phone solicitations. When I asked him to take my number off the call list, he told me it was on a sticky note. I asked him to throw the sticky note away. He then asked if I would like him to take my # out of the yellow pages. I told him yes, since I wasn't advertising with them. His final farewell was telling me that I was a real jerk and he wanted my business to fail.
Guy won't stop calling. Multiple calls in a row even after I asked "will you please stop calling and leave me alone". Completely rude and calling me names for no reason. I'm currently in the icu with a family emergency and the last thing I need is this guy calling 4 times in a row and being rude when I nicely asked him not to. Anyone know what business he works for? A guy from National diamond has called with the same tactics
You should talk with other businesses that use diamond and carbide saw blades, including your competitors, to see what they might know. If one of them has bought anything from this salesman, they will have a business name and address.
If you have a smart phone, there are apps that can block the call, or serve as a "virtual receptionist" that will send calls from this number to an extension or to voice mail.
If you have a plain cell phone, assign the number a quickly recognizable name like ZJERK and give it a silent ringtone.
You can contact your CSP (Cellular Service Provider) and have the number blocked by them. The jerk might start using other numbers though, or worse, spoofing numbers.
