This guy called me 5 times today from 786-224-0406. I finally answered the phone, and he stated that I had been approved for a loan for $3000.00 and was being sent to me today. I told him that I hadn't applied for any loan, and that someone must have stolen my identity. He said, "No one has stolen your identity, you are the only one that applied for this loan. We need to send it to you now." Then I asked him what the name of the company was. This is what's hilarious; he said he worked for The Money Loan Company..... really?!?!?!! You couldn't come up with a better name than The Money Loan Company? I asked to speak with his manager and stated NO NO NO you can't speak to no manager, then proceeded to tell him that he was the rudest person I had ever spoke with on the phone, that he was trying to steel my identity, and told him I was reporting it to the authorities! BAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAH DUMB [***]
I got this calls on my business phone and my personal phone. They call them self Window Support and you computer sent messages out. The number came out private number, At first I asked them the phone number and they gave me 786-224-0406. This can be a scam. The call came from Florida lie to people and take people. I do not want to do business with the Florida company. My cousin Bought a dog for $ 1000 in Florida and she can ge the dog for much less.
Received call stating he was from Windows Tech dept. stating our computer is receiving malicious malware. Wanted me to open the run box and type in inf onlinejunk in order to show me what was happening. If I didn't my computer would crash.
Ask them to call back and I called HP support and they advised it was scam to get access to our computer.
I had ask the first caller to call me back in 30 minutes but he persisted my computer would crash. Told him to call back and he tried 3 times while I was talking to HP. Once I did speak to them again (Frank) insisted I needed to type in the information or he was going to block my computer. I told him Windows would not call me then he said he was from Microsoft. He kept insisting he was going to block my computer. Told him to do it that I was reporting him to the police!
This company calls every few days claiming to be The Windows support service. I have told them repeated not to call. Trying to place them on the DO NOT CALL LIST does not work. Hang up.
received a call from Daniel, stating he was Windows .. I told him I could not talk and hung up on him. He immediately called me back, saying that he is calling to warn me my computer was being hacked, and if I hung up it would be at my own peril. He said he had the registration number for my computer, just turn on my computer, to see if the number he has is the same as my registration #.. I asked him just to give me the number.. he said he would need me to turn on my computer to check with me. I asked how he got my registration number, he said I gave my number to HP when I registered my computer. Then I said, I can't turn on my computer right now, just tell me what I need to know and do if I am being hacked. He again told me I had to turn on my computer. I told him I was at a party, and couldn't turn on my computer, just give me a number that I can call for help when I can get to it. He told me his name, the number 786-224-0406 ext. 786, and ask for Daniel. Then he told me again to be sure to ask for Daniel. All too weird, not logical, and I really think it is a scam. Microsoft does not moniter all of the computers they sell for hackers... can you imagine how many people it would take to do such a job? That is why we buy computer protection....
