I am not responding to the number listed above. These people have changed it to: 786-228-5180 BK Agencie. It must be very new, because there was nothing on this site regarding the number, but a lot of info about BK Agencie. I can only assume that they have done the old 30-day number swap to find more victims. Ever vigilant.
Anyway, the do not call list is not the only law they disregard. They always call me between 5 and 6 AM!!!

They don't check boards like this, so we have to call them direct to file a report.

TELEMARKETERS WILL DISREGARD ALL LAWS IF WE DO NOT HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE.
Believe me. I worked in the field, once, and we were required to disregard all Laws regarding telemarketers, unless we were caught.
BK Agencie called our home at 1:43am on 2/29/12. How is that even legal?! We do not have any outstanding bills, nor is anyone trying to collect from us from prior outstanding bills, so we don;t understand why they would call in the first place - let alone at 1:43 in teh morning!!!
I used to be a collection agent and I can assure you, the company I worked for took collection laws very seriously. If a collection agent violates any collection law - either state or federal - it could mean jail time. With that company we were only allowed to contact people between the hours of 8:30 am to 9:00 pm Monday through Saturday. With that, I doubt it was a collection agency. I can also say that the FTC takes collection laws very seriously too. I know because I've had to call them before. I was getting collection calls for the gentleman that I assume used to live in the house that I am living in now; however, the collection agent left a message on my machine divulging a lot of personal information about this gentleman which is very illegal.
To get back to the subject, I also received a call from BK Agencie at 1:30 am, and again at 10:00 am this morning (2/29). The first time I guess they hung up before the machine picked up, but the second time a robo message was left on my machine about a government approved program and interest rates, blah, blah, blah.
Another poster was correct in that the governmental agencies that take the complaints about these types of calls do not check sites like this one - though I believe they should. I would recommend contacting the FTC for any future complaints of this type. The agent that I dealt with was very nice, and the calls stoped immediately.
I received a call from this number pretending to be my grandson who had been in an accident in spain and needing money and was told not to contact the rest of the family and alarm them. when I told him I had no money he hung up on me. these people are trying to run scams on innocent people. they have also called and left no message when I let it go to answering machine.
