"Abby Davis"-We need to speak to Cheryl S
"Me"- she is not here
"Abby Davis" are you a sister or a daughter answering the phone
"Me" a babysitter
"Abby Davis"- I need her cell phone number
"Me"-I don't have a cell number for her
"Abby Davis"- I need her work number, we have a buisness matter that needs to be handled right now.
"Me"- she will not be home till after 9p
"Abby Davis"- I will leave her a message, Abby Davis Everett Asset Mgmt ext. 418 and the number is one your caller ID (786-228-5570) gave me a reference number and said call back right away to solve this matter.
Yes I understand. I am having the same problem. They call 10 times a day. Unfortunately I ansered yesterday, when I was home and she asked for Holly. Holly has never lived here. She just visited me 11 years ago for 6 months. The lady calling told me to have her call 1-866-929-8029 Ext. 4206. I told here I did not know a Holly. I checked the caller ID and it was from 1-786-228-5570. I called that number and asked for Marrinda and she told me no one by that name was there. I asked what business I had reached and she told me Everest. I asked how to spell it and she said just like the mountain. Of course I did this to find out who the company was. This had to be a debt that they bought for the orriginal owner of the dept. Many companies are doing this, they buy the old dept. for 20% or so and try to collect 100 % or more. This is legal for them to try, but they can not force anyone to paythen then on this old debt. So I would call them Scammers. I have a PnD in Criminal Justice and understand what they are doing and know that you do not have to pay them, but they are a pain when you constantly receive calls from them. I would call your Attorney Generals Office in your state, make a complant and ask that they be put on the do not call list. Afterr that log the dates and times they call and they will be taken to court by the State A.G.s Office with hefty fines, and this should stop the calling. I will be doing this now. I hope this helps anyone having this problem.
I just got my new and first cell phone three weeks ago as a birthday gift and this number has started calling my new cell phone. I don't answer because I am pay as you go and this could eat up my minutes.
I periodically reciece calls from this number as well as the 866-929-8029 number for Everest Asset Management, (debt collectors), who are trying to contact a Charlie Callich, (?). This happens about every 6-8 months for the past 1-1/2 to 2 years.
I contact them and tell them no such person at this number. They say they remove the number and itr won't happen agai, but several months later it does.
It is very difficult to contact anyone there who can directly help resolve this each time it happens. It requires starting from scratch each time.
They keep calling with an automated message for "Purvis". No one by that name has ever lived at this address. I just want them to stop calling me as it usually wakes me up in the morning.
