I called them back, they are RCF Financial, I said thank you... I needed to know who NOT to do business with!
The morons called our business today at 1313 hours. Caller ID said "Miami FL" so I knew it was another scammer or spammer. I picked up the phone but said nothing. I could hear the racket of a boiler room operation in the background. A woman with accented English asked for "Martin." "Who?" I said. She said she needed to speak with the owner. I told her, no, she wasn't going to speak to the owner, we're not interested. She claimed she wasn't selling anything. (Riiiiight. You just called to say "hi", right?) I asked her why she was calling. She insisted to speak to the owner. I asked again why she was calling. "I need to speak to the owner." "Why are you calling?" "I need to speak to the owner." Over and over again. Finally I had enough of her nonsense, so I blew my emergency whistle into the receiver. Anyone who won't state their business is already highly suspect, especially when calling from a generic number, which doesn't even post the name of the business on a caller ID.
