I received a call from this number regarding my subscrption to Natural Health(which I am not renewing
due to saving money. The person asked about my credit card # ...I told him that wasn't my number but did not give my number since I knew it was I was being scammmed. I told them I had already cancelled my subscription and they insisted I had renewed in November of 2011.
I asked to speak to a manager who was very agressive and I told him I was hanging up since I am on the NO CALL list and I was going to report this incident .(which I did)

Got a call at about 7:30 PM PST a SUNDAY NIGHT 11-24-2013 by someone claiming to be from TV Guide, Said TV guide is going up from 54 dollars a year to 70 dollars a year. Said he just wanted to know if we are getting our copies and that if so, another person would call and "Set up the billing" to "lock us in" a lower rate. Which is a load of nonsense. What legitimate company calls subscribers up on a Sunday night? They just wanted to get a CC number. No way. Told him the call was recorded . He hung up pretty mad. Said he was from Norfolk Va. No call back, but I think it was this 786 area code number.
Got another call today from someone claiming to be from TV guide. A lot of call-center jabber going on. Our current subscription runs out in January of 2015. Said subscription price was going up and they want to "lock in" an amount which is more than what I'm paying now. No call-back number. Said they were calling form Virginia. Said she really wasn't from TV guide but only someone who gets subscriptions for them. Right! Said her company was Elite but would not give me a phone number.
Total scam.
Told her I knew what she was doing and told her there was no way she was getting my CC#.
Rec'd phone call this evening (10/19/14) that came up "Unlisted number." Answered call anyway and a girl said TV guide was going to cost $77.95 and to disregard a forthcoming card with this amount. Since we have been such "good customers" in the past, she wanted to offer $54.95 for subscription. Said she would have "billing" call right back. Billing called (also an unlisted number on caller ID). Man said he would give us the discounted price for life. I could make 3 payments of $30 something, or 2 payments of $50 something, or a one time payment of $100 something. I said "Sure, send me a bill." He said he could not do that, had to make payment over the phone. I hung up on him and I believe he called right back as another "unlisted number" came up on caller ID. Needless to say I did not answer and this is definitely a SCAM!!!!
