Gal left a message in broken English stating that an Enforcement has begun on my name. She was threatening with, "this is a serious matter" and something (couldn't understand her) about getting an attorney. The number on the caller ID was different than the number she left on the machine insisting I call her back. Caller ID number: 786-235-8069 and the call back number was: 786-735-2007.
I got a recorded message from this phone number telling me that this was a serious matter regarding an enforcement & legal action against me. This is obviously a scam. I'm so sick of these!
This is the IRS scam and they're calling from outside the country so law enforcement can't touch them. I blocked another number they were using and thought I was in the clear but they're so persistent they're just calling from another number now. Don't pick it up, keep reporting these calls to the IRS and maybe eventually they'll stop. As understand it there are half million people in the US that fell for this scam and gave away thousands from their savings. Go to irs.gov and look for the link to report scams.
